What would be the perfect chair in which to drink a perfect Martini? A Hans Wegner’s Shell chair? A classic Scandinavian chair with clean lines and function?

Martin concocted his answer to this question by combining several ingredients in his shaker. He started with a base mix of industrial steel and organic wood. Added a dash of sexy curves with bent laminated bur oak legs. Poured in inspiration from show saddles (the stitching of the suede seat and the backrest of tooled leather like a saddle skirt). And garnished it with brass hardware.

To Martin, both function and comfort are essential. The drink holder can easily be placed on either side, catering to the contentment of all who relax in this sweet seat, even those who are not so blessed to be left-handed.
